One of my intentions this year is to stay focused and aligned to my vision, and not get distracted by the outside world (yep, easier said than done!)

Being super productive and focused is always a blend of the tools and systems you use, mixed in with your own boundaries…basically your ability to say ‘no!’ to stuff that doesn’t support your dreams.

I wanted to share the main tools I use daily so you can see how I make things happen and stay in a state of flow in my business (most of the time..because life happens!)

ACUITY SCHEDULING 

FOR RUNNING MY CALENDAR, CLIENTS…AND LIFE

Where would I be without Acuity? In a state of hair pulling and sobbing on the couch most likely. Bit dramatic, but seriously Acuity rules the service based side of my business like no other tool does.

As a coach I’m constantly juggling my calendar with clients as well as booking in media interviews and Skype chats with business buddies. I use this tool to assign my availability in my calendar, so that my clients work around my schedule and not the other way around.

When I was first coaching I would see people at all crazy hours but I quickly burnt out. I now have set times and every Friday is a ‘no meeting day’. And the best part is, Acuity handles payments, reminder emails and my intake forms. No brainer really.

ASANA

FOR PROJECTS AND MAKING THINGS HAPPEN

Before Asana entered my life my to do list was a mess. Now, my to do list is neatly mapped out, colour coded and interactive. I’m a visual person so Asana helps to motivate me each day by making project management simple, intuitive and fun to do.

I typically work in sprints over a 90 day chunk, so I use Asana to map out every single little step I need to do each day over the 90 days. I’m a big believer in breaking down a big goal into manageable chunks and Asana is my ride or die for that.

CONVERTKIT 

FOR EMAIL MARKETING AND KEEPING MY TRIBE HAPPY

Oh Convertkit, how I love thee. ConvertKit runs my email tribe and automates my sales funnels, but it doesn’t stop there. I use it to tag customers who have purchased from me, create amazing opt ins to build my list and keep my tribe happy with high value content.

As a self confessed minimalist, I love the simplicity of ConvertKit compared to other email marketing tools. It’s definitely helped boost my productivity and save myself the headache of setting up confusing sales funnels and opts in.

EVERNOTE

FOR MID SHOWER IDEAS AND MANAGING MY BRAIN

Evernote is like the bestie of the digital tools world. As in..I write all my crazy ideas and keep my middle of the night notes in there and she never judges me.

I use Evernote to basically brain dump anything and everything, but I have set folders for different areas of my business so I can easily refer back when I need a hit of inspiration or a new blog idea. I keep notebooks for “marketing” “courses” “blog ideas” “book inspiration” “social media ideas” “money mindset training” and so much more.

LATER

FOR SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING

I’ve always gone back and forth with social media apps and tools, never finding one that felt quite right..until I found Later. I use this handy tool to map out my Instagram feed, make sure it’s consistent and on brand and schedule everything in advance a few weeks at a time. That means if I’m on the run, in between client calls or just having a crazy week, I know that my social media is working for me.
