When you change your thoughts, you change your entire world.
Affirmations are one of my personal favourite mindset methods because they have the power to bridge the gap between your current reality and the business and life you dream of.
The purpose behind affirmations is to choose sentences or words that either eliminate something from your life (a fear or situation) or help you to achieve your goals and create more abundance.
Yep, you can literally think your goals into being. Ahh-mazzz-ing.
You could say I have an obsession with affirmations! They’ve helped me to go from a place of unworthiness and lacking to a place of confidence and power. I use them daily in my business to keep me focused and to support my manifesting.
Think of your affirmations as your go-to-source whenever you need to reconnect with your soul, your goals and your true self.
When you use affirmations you’re literally saying to your subconscious “I am stepping into my power. I am open. I am changing.”
Just imagine the abundance you’ll open yourself up to when you start affirming to yourself that you are loveable, valuable, worthy and ready for the next step!
Affirmations are super personal, so it’s best to create your own one depending on your situation and goals. I have a really simple 3 step process that I use which I’m sharing with you below.
1 – Start with the words “I am”.
These two humble words are the most powerful there are! This literally states to your subconscious brain that you are taking action and you’re bringing your goal into reality.
2 – Set a specific goal.
It’s really important to be as clear with your intention as possible. What are you going to change or make happen?
“I am earning 5,000 a month in my business.”
3 – Get more specific by using verbs and present tense in your affirmation.
This tells your subconscious brain that you’re in motion. You’re literally visualise yourself in the now.
“I am blissfully earning 5,000 a month in my business with ease and flow.”
Other tips for creating a seriously epic affirmation to up-level your business:
♥ Stay positive – the words you use should be positive, as if you have already achieved your dreams
♥ Keep it simple and brief – don’t over complicate your affirmation. The simpler the better so your subconscious mind is clear on your intent
♥ Keep it personal for yourself – don’t make your affirmation about someone else like your team members or family. Bring it back to your own actions and thoughts.
♥ Infuse your affirmation with celebration. Write it as if you are celebrating achieving your goal – use expressive, joyful words that help you feel into the future.
Once you create your affirmation, say it at least 3 times a day and visually place it wherever you can. Post a note on your mirror, in your office, your phone – wherever!
So gorgeous, what will you think into reality?
